Dear Terry As you know, I finished year 12 last year at Perth Modern School. For 2015, I am moving to Melbourne and studying a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne.
As such, I won’t be in Perth except for semester breaks so will not be able to help out at many Royal Commonwealth Society WA Events this year.
I wish to take a moment to simply thank you for the many opportunities I have come across through my involvement in the Speech and Leadership Competition, and as a Young Fellow of the RCS WA. I have met numerous people doing so much for the Society, and have had the good fortune of public speaking opportunites at events such as the Commonwealth Day Youth Harmony.
I feel so grateful towards the RCS WA , and truly appreciate the efforts the RCS WA has put into each event I have been invovled in, as these opportunities have undoubtedly helped me to develop and grow as an individual.
I would be more than happy to send you an email every once in a while to keep you updated in my life if you would like, and please keep me updated on what the RCS WA and Young Fellows are continuing to do.
If you or any members of the RCS WA ever find yourself in Melbourne in the upcoming year, please don’t hesitate to contact me via email or my mobile, as I would love to see how you are going! Best wishes Jasmin.
